Morgan BlackbournMorgan Blackbourn is an associate attorney at Kornfeld, Trudell, Bowen and Lingenbrink. She is a Seattle area native who grew up on the Eastside of Lake Washington. She attended the University of Washington for her undergrad education and received her B.A. in Communications. After graduating from UW, Morgan decided to take a year off of school to work at Children’s Hospital in the Therapy Pool. Morgan then traveled to the Eastside of the Mountains to attend Gonzaga University School of Law. She graduated from GU Law in May 2009 and became a member of the Washington State bar shortly thereafter.

During law school Morgan gained experience as a Rule 9 Prosecutor for the cities of Issaquah, Sammamish, Snoqualmie, and Newcastle. She logged in numerous hours in court, including several successful trials.

 

Morgan has also served time as a clerk for the Office of Administrative Hearings in Spokane. After passing the bar, Morgan continued to work for the City Prosecutor’s office on a contract basis and started working for Kornfeld, Trudell, Bowen & Lingenbrink on a contract basis as well. IN January 2010, Morgan was asked to become an associate of KTBL.

Morgan is a Washington State Association of Justice Eagle member, and a board member of the King Country Women Lawyers. In her spare time, Morgan enjoys staying active with activities such as running, swimming, kickboxing, skiing, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and many other sports and activities. Morgan’s focus is personal injury law and realizes that these activities and interests are vital to a person’s overall well being and constantly keeps these in mind when representing her clients.
